Account Management

To create a dashboard account:
  1. Visit the dashboard website
  2. Click Create a free account
  3. Enter your email address and choose a password
  4. Click Create account
  5. Check your email for a confirmation link
  6. Click the link to verify your account
If you encounter any issues creating an account, contact our support team at support@researchanddesire.com.
To reset your password while logged in:
  1. Navigate to Settings > My Profile
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Click Change Password
  4. Enter your new password
  5. Click Reset Password to confirm
You can recover your account using a magic link:
  1. Go to the dashboard sign-in page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click Email link
  4. Check your email for a message containing a magic link and sign-in code
  5. Sign in using either the link or the code
Once signed in, you can change your password in Settings > My Profile.
To update your username:
  1. Navigate to Settings > My Profile
  2. Click on your current username (the text field is editable)
  3. Type your new username
  4. Save your changes
To add interests to your public profile:
  1. Navigate to Settings > My Profile
  2. Find the Interests section
  3. Type an interest and press comma or Enter to add it as a badge
  4. Repeat to add more interests
  5. To remove an interest, click the X button on the badge
Your interests are displayed on your public profile for others to see.
No, you can use different email addresses for your dashboard account and your Research + Desire purchases. The accounts are not required to match.
This error indicates an issue with your account data that prevents login. It typically occurs due to a sync or database issue that requires support assistance to resolve.To fix this:
  1. Contact support at support@researchanddesire.com
  2. Include the email address associated with your dashboard account
  3. Mention the exact error message you received
Our support team will investigate and restore access to your account.
Errors that mention Server Components or other technical wording usually come from a temporary problem in the web app or from something stuck in your browser session—not from your password being wrong.Try these steps in order:
  1. Hard refresh the page (reload while bypassing cache) — on desktop, use your browser’s shortcut for a hard refresh, or close the tab and open the dashboard again.
  2. Try another browser or a private/incognito window to rule out extensions or cached data.
  3. If password sign-in fails but you still need access, use Email link on the sign-in page and sign in with the link or code from your email — see Reset your password.
If the problem continues, email support@researchanddesire.com with your account email, which browser you use, and a screenshot of the full error if you can.
You can change your email without leaving the page:
  1. Navigate to Settings > My Profile
  2. In Private Details, click Change Email
  3. Enter your new email address and click Send Code
  4. Check your new inbox for a 6-digit verification code
  5. Enter the code in the dialog to confirm the change
You stay signed in the entire time. See Account Settings for full details.
If you can still sign in to your account, you can change your email directly from Settings > Profile > Private Details — the verification code is sent only to the new email, so access to the old inbox is not required.If you cannot sign in at all, contact support:
  1. Email support@researchanddesire.com from your new email address
  2. Include the old email address associated with your account
  3. Provide your new email address
  4. Our team will verify your identity and update the email on your account
For security, our support team may ask additional verification questions to confirm you are the account owner before making changes.
Account deletion requires assistance from our support team. To request account deletion:
  1. Contact support at support@researchanddesire.com
  2. Include the email address of the account you want deleted
  3. Our team will process the request and confirm once complete
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All data associated with the account will be removed.
If you created a duplicate account by mistake and want to use that email address with a different account, delete the duplicate first, then update your email address in Settings > Profile > Private Details.
There is currently no way to clear your account history or reset your account to a fresh state. Your lock history, statistics, and activity records are permanently stored.If you need a completely fresh start, you can request account deletion and create a new account. Contact support at support@researchanddesire.com for assistance.
Account history features like selective deletion or privacy controls may be added in future updates based on user feedback.
If you no longer want someone to have access to your devices:
  1. Sign in to the dashboard
  2. Go to Settings → Partners
  3. Open Manage on the connection and choose Remove partner
Removing a partner immediately revokes their access to your account. For the full walkthrough, see Managing Partner Connections.If you use a Chastity Lockbox and you cannot resolve things from the dashboard—for example an active lock with no cooperative keyholder, you are locked out after Give Up Control, or a session is stuck after removing a partner—contact support@researchanddesire.com with your account email. Subscriptions and Pricing

To upgrade to Ultra:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Subscription
  2. Select your desired subscription tier
  3. Complete the payment process

Subscriptions accept credit card, Google Pay, and Link. PayPal is available for purchases in the R+D Store but is not currently supported for subscription payments.
To cancel your subscription:
  1. Navigate to Settings → Subscription
  2. Locate your active subscription
  3. Click Cancel Subscription
  4. Confirm the cancellation when prompted
Your subscription benefits remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
If you don’t see a cancel option in your subscription settings, contact support at support@researchanddesire.com for assistance.
If you’re seeing duplicate subscription charges, you may have accidentally created two subscriptions under your account. This can happen if you subscribed multiple times or if a previous subscription wasn’t properly cancelled.To resolve duplicate charges:
  1. Contact support at support@researchanddesire.com
  2. Include your account email address
  3. Provide details about the duplicate charges (dates, amounts)
Our support team will investigate your account, cancel any duplicate subscriptions, and refund the extra charges. Refunds typically process within 5–10 business days.
To prevent duplicate subscriptions, always check Settings → Subscription to verify your current subscription status before subscribing again.

A dedicated mobile app is not currently available—the dashboard is a web-based platform accessed through any modern browser. No download or app store is required.Visit dashboard.researchanddesire.com from any device with an internet connection to access your account.
The dashboard works internationally and is accessible from most countries worldwide. Both you and your partner can use the dashboard from different locations.
Mobile app development is on our roadmap for future releases.
The dashboard runs in your web browser (for example Safari or Chrome)—not a separate App Store app. On iOS, toolbars at the bottom of the screen (tabs, navigation, address bar) can sit on top of buttons that are fixed low on the page, including Save in some dialogs (such as hygiene break settings under Chastity Lockbox → Home → Modify Settings).Try one of these:
  1. Scroll so the Save control sits above the browser toolbar, then tap it carefully.
  2. Rotate to landscape or use a larger window so more of the page is visible.
  3. Complete the change on a tablet or computer in the same browser session if taps keep mis-registering.
If a tap sends you back to Home without saving, reopen Modify Settings, adjust again, and use the steps above. For persistent issues, email support@researchanddesire.com.
The dashboard uses GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) for all scheduling features. If you start a session in the evening in your local timezone, the dashboard may already consider it the next day in GMT.For example, if you’re in a timezone that is GMT-5 and start a session at 10 PM Wednesday local time, the dashboard sees it as 3 AM Thursday GMT and loads Thursday’s scheduled template instead.
Per-user timezone settings are not currently available. Plan scheduled templates with GMT timing in mind, or use manual template selection if you train late in the evening.
Session data uploads when your Trainer completes a session while connected to Wi‑Fi (not offline-only playback). If nothing new appears:
  1. Wait a minute, then refresh the dashboard and open Deepthroat Trainer to review the activity log.
  2. Confirm the Trainer was online during the session and is paired to your account.
