Once your partner has paired their Lockbox to their account, they can grant you control over their device. Follow these steps to become their keyholder.

Connect to your partner’s account

Create your keyholder account

Sign up for your own account and log in. You need a separate account from your partner to act as their keyholder.

Send a partner invitation

  1. Navigate to Settings > Partners from your dashboard menu
  2. Click Create an invitation
  3. Enter your partner’s email address or username
  4. Under Access Type, select Request access to their devices
  5. Click Send invitation

Partner accepts the invitation

Your partner must sign into their account (where the Lockbox is paired) and accept your invitation.
Once accepted, your username appears on their Settings > Partners page with the message “This user can control and modify your devices.”

Control your partner’s Lockbox

After your partner accepts the invitation, you can manage their devices from your own account.

Switch to your partner's account view

Click the Your Account dropdown in the top-left navigation bar, then select your partner’s account from the list.

Manage lock sessions

From your partner’s account view, you can:
  • View their current session and stats on the Chastity Lockbox > Home page
  • Create new lock sessions using the Chastity Lockbox > Templates page

If your partner enabled Give Up Control with Permanent consent, only you can return full control to them from the dashboard—they cannot toggle it off themselves.
  1. Use the top-left account menu to switch to your partner’s account (the lockee account that owns the Lockbox)
  2. Open Settings > Advanced
  3. Turn off Give Up Control
You must perform these steps while viewing their account, not only from your own. If the option is unavailable or does not work, ask your partner to contact support@researchanddesire.com from their dashboard email; support can reset the setting when needed.
